CRAMMING CRACK - The app to crack the code for better grades

So for one of our FUN projects for this class we had to create an app in groups. My group decided to create an app we would like to use ourselves! We came up with "Cramming Crack" which is kind of based on the already existing entertainment-app Trivia Crack, which probably most UNL students have played at least once!

The purpose was to help students study, in a FUN way! We also wanted teachers to have access to it through Blackboard so they can start using it as a fun substitute for "boring and old" exam study guides!

Anyone that played Trivia Crack before knows it is quite easy to learn how to play:

Choose cotegory (JOMC 101)àSpin the wheel àAnswer question the wheel lands on àGreen check mark shows up next to the right answer àIf you pick the RIGHT one, you get a STAR!

Be a STAR with CRAMMING CRACK!

Blog post 1: Introduction

Hi,

My name is Ellen Wikström. I started here at UNL last spring as a freshman majoring in Advertising & Public Relations. I am 21 years old and I am born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. I graduated Swedish high school (or gymnasium as it is called in Sweden) with a main focus in economics. After studying a broad focus within economics, my interest for marketing, advertising and PR sparked. My dream is to become an Advertising manager at a big company one day.

My family consists of my father as a governmental worker and my mother as a speech therapist. I am the oldest of three siblings, my little sister is graduating high school next year, and my little brother is a high school freshman basketball pro. I also have a family dog that is named Nellie, she is a mutt of five different breeds.

I have a big passion for cooking. I usually cook anything, but I mostly prefer to improvise and make up my own recipes. Also I enjoy preforming and watching sports such as swimming, football, soccer, and hockey.

This class is my first class counting towards my major. My first year of college I focused on getting my Ace’s done, so now I am very excited to get started taking courses of my interest. In this course I hope I will get a greater insight of the media world, and get basic knowledge that will help me in my other courses within my major. So far all my expectations for this course has been fulfilled. This class makes me think that I have made the right decision of majoring in Advertising and Public Relations.
